TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Conscious Health Summit (“Event”), organized by Surpresas Imaculadas Unipessoal LDA (“Organizer,” “we,” “us,” “our”), under Portuguese law. These Terms of Service (“TOS”) govern your participation in the Event, whether purchasing tickets or attending. By registering, you agree to these TOS and our Privacy Policy.

By participating in the Conscious Health Summit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Acceptance

  1. Binding Agreement: Your attendance signifies acceptance of these TOS.
  2. Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket or attend unless accompanied by a legal guardian. If local laws impose a higher age for certain sessions, you must comply.

3. Event Overview

  1. Date & Location: May 2–3, 2025, Lisbon, Portugal (subject to change).
  2. Organizer Role: We bring together speakers, sponsors, and vendors focusing on holistic health, ancestral wisdom, and modern science.
  3. No Guarantee of Specific Content: We strive to deliver quality sessions but cannot guarantee any specific speaker or vendor.

4. Ticket Purchases

  1. Payment & Confirmation: Ticket sales occur via Stripe. Confirmation is valid only upon full payment.
  2. Refunds & Transfers: Refunds follow the policy shown at checkout. Transfers may be possible under stated guidelines.
  3. Promotions & Discounts: Any promo codes or early-bird offers must be used according to their terms; they cannot be retroactively applied.

5. Code of Conduct

  1. Respect: Treat all attendees, staff, and participants with courtesy. Harassment or hate speech is not tolerated.
  2. Safety: Comply with venue rules and any health or safety measures.
  3. Removal: We reserve the right to remove any attendee who violates this Code or disrupts the Event.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

  1. Data Collection: We process personal data per our Privacy Policy and EU data protection laws.
  2. Consent: By providing your email or purchasing tickets, you consent to data processing for legitimate Event purposes.
  3. Third Parties: We may share limited data with service providers (payment, email marketing) strictly for Event-related needs.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. Event Materials: Logos, branding, and graphics belong to us. You may not use them without written consent except for personal, non-commercial mentions (e.g., on social media).
  2. Recordings: Sessions may be recorded or streamed. The intellectual property of speaker content remains with the speaker.
  3. Attendee Content: Anything you create (e.g., photos, posts) is yours, provided it doesn’t breach third-party rights or Event branding rules.

8. Medical & Health Disclaimers

  1. Informational Only: Content shared is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional.
  2. Personal Responsibility: You alone decide whether to participate in demonstrations or product trials.

9. Liability Waiver

  1. Assumption of Risk: You accept all inherent risks related to attending (e.g., minor injuries, allergies).
  2. Release of Claims: To the fullest extent allowed by law, you release us from claims or damages.
  3. No Warranties: We provide the Event on an “as is” basis, with no guarantees of any specific outcome.

10. Changes & Cancellations

  1. Program Changes: We may alter speakers, schedules, or locations if necessary.
  2. Attendee Cancellations: Follow the stated process for any refunds or transfers.
  3. Organizer Cancellations: If the Event is canceled or postponed, refunds or transfers will follow our policy.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).

12. Photography & Recording

  1. Consent: By attending, you allow us or our agents to photograph or record you, and to use such media for promotional purposes without compensation.
  2. Opt-Out: If you have privacy concerns, contact us in writing before the Event. We’ll make reasonable efforts to accommodate.

13. Third-Party Services

Any dealings with sponsors, vendors, or speakers are between you and them. We do not endorse or guarantee third-party products or services.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims arising from your breach of these TOS or misuse of the Event premises or services.

15. Governing Law

These TOS and any disputes are governed by Portuguese law and applicable EU regulations.

16. Dispute Resolution

Unresolved disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lisbon, Portugal, unless local consumer protection laws dictate otherwise.

17. Severability & Entire Agreement

  1. Severability: If any clause is invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
  2. Entire Agreement: These TOS and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement on Event attendance, superseding prior versions.
