Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These terms cover tickets for and attendance at the Conscious Health Summit, and the use of this website. In plain words: a ticket is for the days and the ticket type you bought, at the price shown, VAT included. You can pass it on to someone else; we do not refund a change of mind. If we cancel, you get your money back. We film the summit and use what we capture; if a published close-up of you bothers you, you can ask us to take it down. What you hear on stage is not medical advice. And we treat each other with care. The full text follows.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
- Organiser: Surpresas Imaculadas LDA, a Portuguese company, NIPC and VAT number PT518339661, registered at the Conservatória do Registo Comercial de Lisboa, share capital €2,000, with its seat at Rua Ruben A. Leitão 4, 2.º Dto, 1200-392 Lisboa, Portugal. Email: live@conscioushealth.io. We organise the Conscious Health Summit (the Summit) and run this website.
- Who they apply to: anyone who visits this website, buys or holds a ticket, or attends the Summit or a side event we organise. If you buy tickets for other people, make these terms available to them.
- Partners: exhibitors, sponsors, partner communities, speakers and volunteers have their own agreements with us. Where those are silent, these terms apply to them too.
- Your rights: nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under Portuguese or European consumer law that cannot be excluded.
2. The Summit
The Summit takes place at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, Lisbon, on 4 and 5 June 2027. Opening hours, the programme, speakers, exhibitors, sessions, workshops, room allocations and the layout of the venue can change. A published programme is our intention, not a promise that a particular speaker, session or exhibitor will be there. We post changes on this website and email ticket holders about significant ones.
Each ticket type gives access to what is described at the point of sale, and your order confirmation states what is included. Dinners, lounges, reserved seating, workshops, experiences and side events are included only where the ticket or an add-on says so. Workshops and sessions are first come, first served, within the capacity of the room.
Side events, such as a closing gathering or events held by partner communities during the Summit week, have their own tickets and their own conditions. An event run by a partner is the partner's event: your contract for it is with them.
3. Tickets
- Confirmation: your order is complete when we have received your payment and sent you a confirmation. The confirmation, with its QR code, is your ticket.
- One person per ticket: each ticket admits one named person. Keep the QR code to yourself; do not copy, share or publish it. The first scan admits, and a duplicate may be refused.
- Your details: give an accurate name and email address. The name and company you provide appear on your badge. The invoice is issued at purchase under Portuguese rules with the name and tax number (NIF) you enter at checkout; enter them there, as we may not be able to change them afterwards.
- Passing a ticket on: you may give your ticket to another person. Write to us with both names and the order reference; the ticket must be unused and the new holder accepts these terms. We may refuse a request made in the 24 hours before the Summit opens its doors. A student or child ticket can only pass to someone who qualifies for it.
- No resale: tickets may not be resold above the price paid, offered as prizes or used in a promotion without our written permission. A ticket obtained or used in breach of this is void, without refund.
- Student tickets: for students aged 24 or under on the first day of the Summit, with a valid student card or proof of enrolment shown at the entrance. Without it, we may ask for the difference to the regular price or refuse admission.
- Child tickets: for anyone aged 17 or under on the first day of the Summit, with proof of age if asked. A child ticket holder is admitted only together with a parent or legal guardian who holds a ticket (see section 6).
4. Prices and payment
- Prices: all prices are in euros and include VAT. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, plus any fee shown there. Payment is by card or the other methods offered at checkout, through our payment provider (currently Stripe). We never see your full card details.
- Price changes: prices and offers can change over time, in either direction. The price you pay is the one shown when you complete your order; a later change does not alter a completed order and gives no right to a refund of the difference.
- Codes and offers: a code or an offer applies under its stated conditions and expiry, is not applied retroactively and cannot be combined with another unless we say so.
- Mistakes: if an obvious error in a price or description affects your order, we will contact you. You can then keep the order at the corrected terms or have a full refund.
5. Changing your mind, refunds and cancellation
A ticket is a leisure service on fixed dates. Under Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, article 17.º, 1, l) the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply to it. We therefore do not refund a change of mind, a no-show, a late arrival or an early departure. You can pass your ticket on instead (section 3).
- If we cancel: if we cancel the Summit and do not reschedule it, we refund the full price you paid us for your ticket and any add-ons, within 30 days, to the payment method you used.
- If we move the dates: your ticket is valid for the new dates. If you cannot come on them, ask us for a refund within 30 days of our announcement and we will refund you in full.
- Other changes: a change of speaker, session, workshop, running order, room, layout, or a move to another venue in Lisbon, is not a reason for a refund.
- Your own costs: travel, accommodation and other arrangements are at your own risk, also if the Summit is cancelled, moved or changed. Consider refundable bookings and travel insurance.
- Events beyond our control: severe weather, fire, epidemic, transport disruption, strikes, government action, closure or failure of the venue or its utilities, and similar events we cannot reasonably prevent may force us to change, postpone or cancel the Summit, in whole or in part. We will tell you as soon as we reasonably can and provide the remedies the law requires.
6. Admission and how we treat each other
- Entry: bring your ticket and, if asked, a photo ID and the proof for a concession. Wear your badge while you are at the Summit; it is needed for re-entry and for restricted areas. Admission is subject to the venue's rules and security procedures, which may include bag checks.
- Each other: the Summit is a gathering of people who came for the same thing. Treat everyone, speakers, exhibitors, staff and fellow participants, with courtesy and respect. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, unwanted attention, and photographing or recording people against their wishes have no place here, on site or online.
- Safety: follow the instructions of our team and the venue. Dangerous or illegal items, drugs, and unauthorised selling, promotion, filming or commercial activity are not allowed.
- Refusal and removal: we may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who breaches these terms, endangers others or disrupts the Summit, without refund, except where the law requires one.
- Reporting: if something happens to you or you witness it, tell any member of our team or the registration desk at once, or write to us afterwards. We take every report seriously and treat it confidentially.
- Under 18: the Summit is made for adults. Everyone needs a ticket, whatever their age. A person under 18 holds a child ticket and attends only with a parent or legal guardian who holds a ticket, stays with them at all times and is responsible and liable for their conduct, safety and welfare; the child is registered under that adult's details. Under-18s may not take part in evening events or consume alcohol. Some sessions, practices, treatments and products are for adults only, and a facilitator may refuse an under-18 for safety.
- Animals: no animals, except trained service animals.
7. Sessions, practices and your health
- Not medical advice: talks, dialogues, workshops and the exhibition are there to inform and to be experienced. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and a speaker's views are their own. Speak to a qualified professional before you change a treatment, medication, diet, supplement or training routine, and never stop a treatment because of something you heard at the Summit.
- Practices and experiences: breathwork, movement, cold exposure, sound, meditation, demonstrations, tests and devices offered on stage or at stands are voluntary. Tell the facilitator about any condition, pregnancy, medication, injury or allergy that could matter, and decide for yourself whether a practice is right for you. We or the facilitator may stop a participation for safety; that is not a reason for a refund.
- Exhibitors and practitioners: what you buy or book from an exhibitor, practitioner or speaker is a contract with them, under their terms. We select who exhibits, but we do not vouch for every product, claim or service, and their regulatory compliance is their responsibility.
- Food and drink: supplied by vendors under their terms. Ask them about ingredients and allergens.
- Emergencies: our team and the venue may give first aid and call the emergency services. We may record an incident and share what is necessary with the venue, medical staff, insurers or authorities, handling health information as sensitive data under our Privacy Policy.
- Accessibility: tell us about your needs as early as you can, and we will do what is reasonably possible at the venue.
8. Photography, filming and recordings
- We film the Summit: photographers and camera crews work throughout the two days. By attending you agree that we and our production partners may photograph, film and record you, and may use the images, footage and recordings in which you appear, close-ups included, as well as any material you give us or share with us about the Summit, to document and promote the Summit and future editions: on our website, social media and video channels, in the press, in partner and sponsor material and in our archive, worldwide, for as long as we see fit, without payment and without asking you again.
- Close-ups: if an identifiable close-up of you bothers you once it is published, write to us and we will take it down where we control it, as soon as we reasonably can. This does not cover audience, crowd and background images, recordings of sessions, or material already distributed by the press or by others.
- Talks: sessions are recorded and may be published in full or in part. Speakers agree to this in their own agreements.
- Your own photos: you may take photos and short clips for personal use, respecting the wishes of the people in them. Recording whole talks or workshops, live streaming, professional equipment and commercial use need our written permission and, where relevant, the speaker's.
- Badge scans: an exhibitor receives your contact details only when you let them scan your badge or hand them over yourself (see our Privacy Policy).
9. Intellectual property
- Ours and our speakers': the Summit's name, logo, brand, website, programme, materials and recordings belong to us or to those who license them to us; speakers keep the rights to their talks. Attending does not give you the right to reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially use any of it. Sharing links and personal mentions on social media is welcome.
- What you give us: if you send us feedback, a testimonial, a photo or another contribution, you allow us to use and adapt it to document and promote the Summit, with your name and organisation where you gave them, unless you ask us not to.
10. This website
The website is for information and for joining the Summit's mailing list and forms. We may change or withdraw any part of it. We keep it accurate as far as we reasonably can, but it is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. Links to other sites are for convenience; their content is theirs. Do not misuse the site: no attempts to breach its security, no automated copying of its content. How we treat the data you enter here is set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
- What we never limit: our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and anything else the law does not let us limit.
- Otherwise: our liability to you in connection with the Summit is limited to the amount you paid us for your ticket. We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs, for lost enjoyment when the Summit is changed, moved or cancelled, for indirect or business losses, or for loss of or damage to your belongings unless caused by our negligence.
- Your belongings: they stay your responsibility, including items left in a cloakroom.
- Your responsibility: you are liable for damage you cause to the venue, to equipment, or to other people and their property, and for the consequences of breaching these terms.
- Insurance: your ticket includes no travel, medical, cancellation or property insurance. Arrange what you consider appropriate.
12. Complaints and disputes
- Talk to us first: during the Summit, at the registration desk or with any member of our team; afterwards, at live@conscioushealth.io with your name and order reference. We answer within a reasonable time.
- Complaints book: we provide the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. A complaint made there has the same effect as one in the paper book.
- Alternative dispute resolution: under Lei n.º 144/2015, a consumer can take a dispute with us to an alternative dispute resolution entity, among others CNIACC, Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt), or CACCL, Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (www.centroarbitragemlisboa.pt). The full list is at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
- Law and courts: these terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes go to the courts of Lisbon. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the mandatory protections of your country and may bring a claim before its courts.
13. General
- Changes: we may update these terms. The version in force when you completed your order applies to that order, unless a later change is required by law or is in your favour.
- If a clause fails: the rest stands. If we do not enforce a clause at once, we may still enforce it later.
- Succession: we may transfer these terms to a company that takes over the organisation of the Summit; we will tell you if that happens.
- Whole agreement: these terms, the description of your ticket at the point of sale and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about your attendance.
- Language: these terms are written in English. If we publish a translation, the English text is the reference.
